Services and other activities announced by local churches

Services and other activities in churches this week include the following:

Abingdon Episcopal

Abingdon Episcopal Church, White Marsh, will hold Holy Eucharist at 9 a.m. Sunday followed by a Harvest Brunch celebration in the parish hall. There will be no Christian Formation class on Sunday. At 4 p.m., the fourth and final presentation on the first 100 years of Abingdon Church will explore “An Ecclesiastical and Liturgical Perspective of the Church in 17th Century.”

The church is open for silent prayer each Wednesday from 12-1 p.m.

Apostles Lutheran

Apostles Lutheran Church, Gloucester, will hold a Holy Communion worship service at 10 a.m. Sunday. The service will be led by Ingrid Peterson and Pastor Jay Serafin will preach and preside at Holy Communion. Links to the service via Zoom or YouTube are on the church’s website at apostles-elca.org.
