Services and other activities announced by local churches

Services and other activities in churches this week include the following:

Bellamy United Methodist

Bellamy United Methodist Church, Gloucester, will hold casual worship at 9 a.m. Sunday in the outdoor pavilion (or the Fellowship Hall and traditional worship at 10 a.m. in the sanctuary. The Rev. Doug Watson will bring the message. Children’s Church will be offered during the 10 o’clock service. Real Life Families meet at 5 p.m. in the fellowship hall. The Youth Group will welcome Bethany UMC Youth to a combined meeting where they will enjoy bonfire and s’mores from 6-8 p.m.

Registration for Vacation Bible School is open. It will be held from 5:15-7:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, July 1, for ages three years to fifth graders. Call the church office at 804-694-5142 to register.

Bethany United Methodist

The sermon title of Pastor Paul Song of Bethany United Methodist Church, Gloucester Point, at 10 a.m. Sunday will be “The Work of the Holy Spirit—Giving Spiritual Gifts.”
