Special services and other activities in churches this week include the following:

Abingdon Episcopal

Abingdon Episcopal Church, White Marsh, will hold Holy Eucharist services at 8 a.m. and 10:30 Sunday. Both services are held in-person and the 10:30 service will be livestreamed on Facebook and YouTube.

The church is open for silent prayer each Wednesday from noon-1 p.m.

The church is ready to reopen its nursery and is looking to add two or three adult staff members. Interested persons should call the church office at 804-693-3035.

Apostles Lutheran

Apostles Lutheran Church, Gloucester, will hold in-person worship for the fifth Sunday of Lent at 9:30 a.m. Sunday. The service can also be joined via Zoom or YouTube; an invitation to the service and the bulletin will be sent to the congregation via email and can be accessed on the church’s website at apostles-elca.org. Children’s Chapel will be held at 6 p.m. via Zoom.
