Services and other activities announced by local churches

Special services and other activities in churches this week include the following:

Apostles Lutheran

Apostles Lutheran Church, Gloucester, will hold a “White Fragility” book study on the systemic racism in America and reactions to the topic at 7 o’clock tonight via Zoom. The sessions will be co-facilitated by Pastor Sandy Wisco and Peter Liljeberg. To participate contact Liljeberg and he will send you a Zoom link or access the Zoom link from Apostles webpage. The book, a free study guide and an self awareness quiz, are available at www.beacon.org/whitefragility. This will be held every week on Thursday until June 30.

The church will hold in-person worship for the third Sunday of Lent at 9:30 a.m. Sunday. The service can also be joined via Zoom or YouTube; an invitation to the service and the bulletin will be sent to the congregation via email and can also be accessed on the church’s website at apostles-elca.org. Children’s Chapel will be held at 6 p.m. via Zoom.
