Service with a smile

Abingdon and Achilles Elementary students attending a short summer session at Achilles capped their reading of the book “The Lemonade War” by taking turns staffing a lemonade stand in front of the school last Thursday. The goal was to raise $50, but the students took in $625 during the two hours they operated the stand. Proceeds went to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer.
