The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of the Rappahannock in White Stone recently announced its 2025 Servetus Endowment Scholarships for area public high schools. The four recipients, all planning to enter health care, met Servetus Fund trustees at a luncheon at the Kilmarnock Inn on June 7. They are, clockwise from top left, Brooklynn King of Kilmarnock, who will study nursing at Rappahannock Community College; Itzel Santamaria of Heathsville, who will enroll at the University of Virginia to study nursing; Hannah Stillwaggon of Mathews, planning to study pre-med at Old Dominion University, and Ethan Walker of Deltaville, who will enroll at Virginia Tech to study public health. The Servetus scholarship program supports students in the first year, and continues to support them as they move through their college years. The first-year amount that each receives is $4,000.
