The West Point Chamber of Commerce and the Town of West Point will present the Benefit Gala at the Historic Chelsea Plantation on the banks of the Mattaponi River from 6-9 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10.

The event is a celebration to help recognize local businesses, chamber members and raise financial support for a new young entrepreneur and trade scholarship program.

This inaugural event will acknowledge some of the best and brightest in the local community and recognize for their efforts in and outside of the office with the introduction of the Chamber and Community Choice Awards.

The event will feature a silent auction and cash dry ice bar. Attendees will also have the option to take a tour of the venue and learn some of the history behind the second oldest plantation in Virginia.

Tickets are $50 apiece and the event is cocktail/formal attire (no jeans). Chamber discount and table pricing are available.
