Mathews County Triad will hold its 25th annual Senior Safety Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16, at the Piankatank Ruritan Club, 7138 Buckley Hall Road, Mathews. Speakers will include Mathews County Sheriff April Edwards, Triad Coordinator Deputy Ron Kesner of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, and Diane Vogel leading a chair yoga session. Also speaking will be representatives from the company CaptionCall, which provides federally-funded phones for hard of hearing or deaf individuals at no cost to the recipient, and AAA, the automobile assistance organization. Nearly two dozen businesses, organizations, and county departments will have booths set up to provide informational materials for those attending. Admission is $3, which includes a continental breakfast and lunch. Tuesday is the deadline to register.
