The Mathews County Triad Senior Health Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday in the social hall of Mathews Baptist Church. The fair is being sponsored by Riverside.

From 10-11 a.m., Riverside will have a number of free health screenings—blood pressure, glucose, skin, balance and hearing. Flu shots will be offered by the Walmart pharmacy.

Derenda Lovelace, RN Navigator for Geriatrics and Extended Care Coordination, will be the day’s guest speaker, discussing services available to Virginia seniors.

A number of organizations and agencies will have informational booths throughout the event, including the Veterans Administration, Bay Aging, Mathews County Triad, Riverside, Mathews Social Services, the Alzheimer’s Association and Sanders Assisted Living.
