Arts on Main in Gloucester has launched a search for a new executive director.

According to a press release from Marjo Holthaus, chair of the hiring committee, the arts organization is seeking someone with a breadth of skills and demonstrated experiences “to position our organization for success in both the short and long terms.”

Now in its 11th year of operation, Arts on Main is in the midst of a $1.5 million effort to purchase and enhance the organization’s gallery on Main Street, said the release, and the next executive director is “expected to bring high energy and creativity to this full-time role, with an overall focus on fulfilling a strategic plan for growth.”
