The Watermen’s Museum in Yorktown will host Yorktown Seafood Festival, or Seafood Summerfest from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at various locations along the waterfront. It is free of charge.
Seafood vendors, food trucks, music, arts and crafts, and vendors will be available all day, while the York County Market will be held from 8 a.m. to noon.
The Running of the Crabs begins at 11 a.m. at the public pier by the market, and goes along the waterfront to the museum.
Music under the tent at the Watermen’s Museum will include Evermore at 11 a.m., Clan MacCool at noon, Winsome at 1 p.m., and ShantyGrass at 2 p.m. St. Georges Brewery will be on hand.
The July Folk Jam will be held on Wednesday, July 21, from 5:30–9 p.m.
