The Lane-Armistead Camp #1772 of the Sons of Confederate Veterans held its annual Christmas dinner on Dec. 4 at the West Mathews Community League building in Bohannon. “We gave thanks, and we paid homage to our forefathers for the sacrifices that they made,” a release submitted by SCV member Bobby Dobson stated. “We also gave praise that our war memorial to honor our dead and missing soldiers and sailors was left alone and in place for all to see.”
