Sculptor’s exhibit opens Sunday in Kilmarnock

Artwork created by Williamsburg sculptor David Littleton will be on display and available for public viewing on Sunday at the Surreal Arizona Gallery at 199 Whittaker Lane, Kilmarnock. The exhibit opens at 2 p.m. and will be in place through mid-December.

The free event, hosted by gallery owner Alvaro Ibañez, will be held in conjunction with a presentation by authors Caterina Novelliere and Roger Gosden. Novelliere will discuss the latest book in her Four Horsemen series, “War Rising.” Gosden will present “The Boy Who Could Bee,” a children’s book he wrote under the name of Rowan Gordon.

According to a press release, Ibañez saw Littleton’s work “Prodigal Son” at a Williamsburg Art Group show and was attracted by the emotion of the 6-foot 2-inch sculpture, so he invited the artist to exhibit in the Surreal Arizona Gallery.

For more information, call Ibañez at 804-577-0969.
