Scout Troop 113 of Gloucester was instrumental in helping deliver food boxes to elderly clients of the Rural Housing Partnership over Mother’s Day weekend. Rural Housing Partnership works in collaboration with Bread for Life Food Pantry to bring this much-needed service, called Food Fixin’s, to those they serve who are struggling with food insecurity. Above, Scouts Matthew Anderson, Sheldon Quade and Andrew Spaulding, from left, along with adult assistance from John Anderson and Kelsey Quade, in background, load boxes into vehicles for delivery. Anyone who has a youth group that would like to support this delivery outreach should contact Rural Housing Partnership’s executive director Babs Zuhowski at 804-792-5079.
