SCOTT ALLEN MILLER

Scott Allen Miller, age 49, of Gloucester, passed away on Feb. 7, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.

Scott retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years of service. From 2002-2007 he was a “dirt boy” with the 820th Red Horse Squadron out of Nellis Air Force Base. He proudly served in Operations Desert Storm and Iraqi Enduring Freedom.

Scott was a hard worker, a man of action with a heart of gold. He loved NASCAR, the Dallas Cowboys, softball, fishing, golf, and cooking a great steak.

Scott was preceded in death by his sister, Stacy Zounes; his mother, Brenda Fredrickson, and stepmother, Mary Miller.

He is survived by his wife, Tiana Miller; son, Hunter Miller; daughter, Kyleigh Miller; stepson, Cameron Fowler; father, Kimball Miller; brother, Troy (Linda) Miller; a nephew, numerous nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Interment was at Arlington National Cemetery on March 14, 2018.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 25 from 1-4 p.m. at the DAV building on Short Lane in Gloucester.
