Gloucester County Public Schools will hold their 2018 open houses next week. 

Open house for rising seventh and eighth graders at Page and Peasley middle schools and for rising ninth graders headed to Gloucester High School will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday. 

Open house for pre-kindergartners, kindergartners and first graders will be held from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29 at all five county elementary schools. Open house for sixth graders going to Page or Peasley and for grades 10, 11 and 12 at GHS will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29. 

Open house for grades two through five will be held from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30 at all five county elementary schools.

In Mathews

Mathews County Public Schools will hold open houses at all three county schools (Mathews High School, Thomas Hunter Middle School and Lee-Jackson Elementary) from 3-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 29. The first day of the 2018-2019 school year in both counties is Tuesday, Sept. 4. ...
