Applications for school supplies are being accepted through Aug. 9 by the Gloucester Service Center of the Salvation Army, according to case worker Sandra Thornton.

Parents of children entering grades K-12 for the 2018-2019 school year who are experiencing financial distress or crisis are encouraged to apply.
