School personnel appointed in Gloucester

The Gloucester County School Board appointed Carrie Landry of Gloucester, as a third grade teacher at Botetourt Elementary School during its Sept. 11 meeting. The board also appointed Christina Coon of Gloucester, as a teacher for the regional autism program and Barbara Brown of Gloucester, as a support employee.

The board accepted resignations from regional autism teacher Joan Archer, permanent substitute teacher Kimberly Kidd-Harrison, part-time speech pathologist Sara Lewis and support employees Sherrie Hill and Diane Mayer. In addition, retirement was approved for support employee Mary Brown.

Among positions paid by supplement, Harry Shepherd Jr. was appointed as the boys’ varsity soccer coach at Gloucester High School and Jamie Boerner was named the swimming coach at GHS.
