The Gloucester County School Board made several personnel appointments during its Jan. 17 meeting at the T.C. Walker Education Center. 

Lisa Jones of Gloucester was appointed as the school nurse at Petsworth Elementary School, effective Jan. 11. Also, Amanda Bowles of West Point was appointed as a teacher assistant at Petsworth, effective Jan. 18. 

Appointed to support services positions were Jennifer Cryer, Sandra Nuttall, Elizabeth Quick and Tina Reece, all of Gloucester, and Myrtie Hayes of Hayes, all effective Jan. 11, and Tyler Horn of Hayes, effective Jan. 18. 

In addition, Kristina Edwards of Ashland and Sarah Summers of Henrico were appointed as school psychologists/special education, effective for the 2017-2018 school year.  ...
