Heather Lucas of Wake, was appointed as the accounting manager in the budget and finance office by the Gloucester County School Board during personnel actions taken during its June 11 meeting.

In other appointments, Heather Toler was named a speech pathologist for the school division and Michael Murphy of Sunbury, Pa., David Dick of Tampa, Fla., and Kerran Lundgren of Chesapeake, were appointed to teaching positions at Gloucester High School. Also, Andrea Griffith of Hayes was appointed to a support services position.

The board accepted resignations from Page Middle School principal Travis Burns, Page teacher Theresa Freyberger, special education coordinator Diana Benner-Demosiuk, Peasley Middle School teacher Britney O’Connell, Botetourt Elementary teacher Janet Parmiter, Achilles Elementary teacher Megan Williams, GHS nurse Caroline Parlett, GHS teachers Leigh Wagner, Catherine Metcalf and Tony Riva and support services employee Juanita Blair.
