School briefs

Katherine Barclay Corson of Gloucester, who graduated Sunday from Christchurch School, received three top awards during the CCS Senior Banquet on Saturday. Corson received the Outstanding Female Student Award, the Best All-Around Female Athlete Award and the Visual Arts Prize.

Amanda Anne Faulkner received an associate of applied science degree in dental hygiene from Thomas Nelson Community College during commencement ceremonies May 14. She also  received an award for clinical excellence in providing cultural care. Faulkner additionally earned an associate’s degree in arts and science. She plans to continue her education at Old Dominion University while working as a clinical hygienist. Faulkner is the daughter of Keith and Mary Anne Faulkner of Mathews.
