The annual Harvey B. Morgan Award was presented April 19 to Hampden-Sydney College senior Richard Michael Pantele. Established in 2000 by Mary Helen Morgan in honor of her husband, the award is presented annually by he Wilson Center for Leadership in the Public Interest to a senior who has successfully completed the college’s public service program, demonstrated an interest in public service, and whose integrity and excellence of character reflect those qualities as evinced in the life of the Honorable Harvey B. Morgan (H-S-’52). Pantele is a government major and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Pantele of Richmond.
