Sarah Frye graduated cum laude and received a bachelor of science degree in athletic training from George Mason University during commencement ceremonies May 19. Frye will pursue a master’s degree in health, exercise and sports medicine at The Citadel in Charleston, S.C. while working as an athletic trainer at The College of Charleston. She is the daughter of Brad and April Frye of Gloucester.

Matthew Williams Soles was named to the spring semester dean’s list at the University of North Carolina, Wilmington where he is majoring in political science and communication studies. The recognition requires a 3.4 or higher grade point average. Soles is vice president of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity, a senator with the Student Government Association and has been selected for the University Community Relations Taskforce.
