Christopher Ivey received a master of science degree in mechanical engineering from Stanford University during commencement ceremonies June 17. Ivey will continue his studies at Stanford toward a doctor of philosophy degree in mechanical engineering. A 2007 graduate of Gloucester High School, he is the son of Barry and Pam Ivey of Gloucester Point.

Lauren Saulman has been named to the spring semester dean’s list at James Madison University where she is a rising senior majoring in nursing. The recognition requires a 3.5 or higher grade point average. Saulman is the daughter of Harry and Cindy Saulman of Gloucester.

Brenna Thomas of Gloucester graduated cum laude and received a bachelor of science degree in physical education from Chowan University during commencement ceremonies May 5.
