Joel Davis of Mobjack, has been named to the dean’s list at Messiah College in Grantham, Pa., where he is a junior majoring in Christian ministries. The recognition requires a 3.6 or higher grade point average.

Emily May has been named to the fall semester dean’s list at Shenandoah University where she is majoring in biology. The recognition requires a 3.25 or higher grade point average. May is the daughter of Robert and Lynn May of Mathews.

Glenns resident Harriet Roane recently graduated from Bluefield College in Bluefield, with a bachelor of science degree in management and leadership. She also completed coursework at Thomas Nelson Community College in Hampton, Rappahannock Community College, Glenns, and the John Leland Center for Theological Studies in Newport News. She is a co-partner in the Village Art Gallery on Main Street in Gloucester.
