School briefs

Sarah Schmitz graduated with honors and received a bachelor of science degree in communication sciences and disorders from James Madison University during commencement ceremonies May 7. Schmitz will pursue a master’s degree at a South Carolina university this fall. She is the daughter of Gregg and Jackie Schmitz of Gloucester.

Adam Rowe received a master’s degree in public administration from Harvard University during commencement ceremonies May 26. He also holds degrees from George Washington University and Columbia University. Rowe, who resides in Boston with his wife, Suzana, is the son of Cleve and Gina Rowe, and the grandson of Barbara and Leonard Minter, all of Mathews.

Jordan Martin received a bachelor of science degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania during commencement ceremonies May 15. Martin took concentrated studies in finance and health care administration and will attend the University of Miami School of Law this fall.
