Leslie Billups of Gloucester Point, and Zabrina D. Coleman-Webster of Saluda, were awarded degrees during the winter commencement ceremonies for online graduates at Kaplan University. Billups received an associate of science degree in interdisciplinary studies and Coleman-Webster received a master of science in teacher education degree.

Wendy Davis Viola has been named to the fall semester dean’s list at Old Dominion University where she is a senior majoring in human services. The recognition requires a 3.4 or higher grade point average. Viola is the wife of Luke Peter Viola and the daughter of Carroll and Jennie Lipscomb of Gloucester.

Andrew Steven Frye graduated magna cum laude and received a bachelor of science degree from Old Dominion University during commencement ceremonies in December. Frye also completed minor studies in sociology. He is the son of Brad and April Frye of Gloucester.
