Benny M. Burrell, a former Mathews County Sheriff’s Office Lieutenant/D.A.R.E. officer, graduated May 21 from Strayer University with a master of science degree in management, with a concentration in leadership. He is currently employed with Ramey Auto Group as an auto sales and leasing consultant in Princeton, West Virginia.

Brittney Hardee of Hayes, was named to the president’s list at Longwood University for the spring 2022 semester. Students recognized for this honor have earned a semester grade point average of 4.0 and have completed a minimum of 12 hours of coursework.
