Brooke Cheatham of Gloucester has been named to the spring 2020 dean’s list at The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina. The recognition requires 12 or more semester hours and a grade point average of 3.2 or higher, with no grade of incomplete and no grade below C for work in a semester.

Caroline Kersey, a graduate of Gloucester High School, has been awarded a scholarship from the Coast Guard Foundation, which does not disclose the amount of its individual scholarships. Kersey is the daughter of U.S. Coast Guard Master Chief Petty Officer Rudolph Kersey of Gloucester, and attends Virginia Tech.
