Leah Hurst of Dutton was recently initiated into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi at University of South Alabama. 

Chowan University students Elizabeth Stokes of Hudgins, and Sheana Stroud of Mathews, were among 43 new members inducted last month into the Rotaract Club, the largest service-focused student organization at the Murfreesboro, North Carolina, school.
