School briefs

Lily A. Black received a bachelor of science in business administration degree in accounting from Longwood University during commencement ceremonies May 19. She was also named to the spring semester dean’s list, a recognition that requires a 3.5 or higher grade point average. Black is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don Black of Hayes.

Whitney Eriksen of Foster, received a bachelor of science in business administration degree in finance and Yasmene Kimble of Gloucester, received bachelor of arts degrees in history and political science from East Carolina University during commencement ceremonies on May 4. 

Christopher Douglas Feigh of Hayes received a bachelor of science degree from the University of Alabama during commencement ceremonies in May.
