Faith Marie Hogge was named to the fall semester dean’s list at Hollins University where she is a freshman. The recognition requires a 3.5 or higher grade point average. A graduate of Gloucester High School, Hogge is the daughter of John and Melissa Hogge of Gloucester.

Melany Slaughter was named to the fall semester dean’s list at Randolph-Macon College where she is a junior majoring in English. The recognition requires a 3.25 or higher grade point average. A 2016 graduate of Mathews High School, Slaughter is the daughter of Tracy and Robbie Whitehurst of Dutton and Vincent Slaughter of Diggs.

Virginia Brooke Slavnik of Gloucester was named to the fall semester dean’s list at Old Dominion University. The recognition requires a 3.4 or higher grade point average. Slavnik is a senior at ODU majoring in criminal justice with a minor in sociology, and is currently studying in Ireland.
