Madeline Grace Brown of Hudgins, Lauren Mackenzie Crossley of Hayes, Nikolas Cole Danaher and Nina Isabel Garland, both of Gloucester, were named to the fall semester dean’s list at James Madison University. The recognition requires a grade point average between 3.5 and 3.899. 

Samuel Moore of Diggs and Zachary Owens of Mathews have been named to the fall semester dean’s list at New River Community College in Dublin. The recognition requires a 3.2 or higher grade point average. 

Seth J. Theuerkauf and Elliott J. Theuerkauf each received college degrees in 2017. Seth received a doctor of philosophy degree in marine, earth and atmospheric sciences from North Carolina State University last month.
