Michael Dough of Gloucester has been named to the fall semester dean’s list at Delaware University. The recognition requires a 3.33 or higher grade point average. 

Elizabeth Martin of Gloucester has been named to the fall semester president’s list at Coastal Carolina University where she is majoring in early childhood education. The recognition requires a 4.0 grade point average.

Kara Blaine Smith of Hayes has been named to the fall semester dean’s list at Eastern Mennonite University. The recognition requires a 3.75 or higher grade point average. 

The Marching Royal Dukes of James Madison University participated in the inaugural parade for new Virginia Governor Ralph Northam last Saturday in Richmond. Among the Royal Dukes were Gloucester residents Matthew Castaneda, who is part of the mellophone section, and Kayla Jillson, who is part of the flute/piccolo section.
