Alexander Fraser Hudgins IV of Suwanee, Ga., has been named to the dean’s list at James Madison University for the fall 2015 semester. Students who earn dean’s list honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of between 3.5 and 3.899. Majoring in health sciences, he is the grandson of Alex and Bonnie Hudgins of Mathews.

Leah Procopi was named to the fall semester dean’s list at the University of Virginia where she is majoring in systems engineering. The recognition requires a 3.4 or higher grade point average. Procopi was the co-valedictorian of the Gloucester High School class of 2013. 

Kayla Robins of Port Haywood has been named to the fall semester dean’s list at Chowan University where she is a junior majoring in allied health biology. The recognition requires a grade point average of 3.25 to 3.79.
