Curtis Hughes of Hudgins and Aiden Thompson of Gloucester have been named to the fall semester dean’s list at Bridgewater College. The recognition requires a 3.4 or higher grade point average. Hughes is a senior majoring in business administration and Thompson is a junior majoring in political science and economics.

Shelby Alto has been named to the fall semester dean’s list at Eastern Mennonite University where she is a freshman majoring in biology. The recognition requires a 3.75 or higher grade point average. Alto is the daughter of Lee and Greta Alto of Gloucester.

Rebekah Hade of Hayes was named to the fall semester dean’s list at Shenandoah University where she is majoring in performance in the Shenandoah Conservatory.

Sarah Elisabeth Hade of Hayes received a bachelor of fine arts degree in graphic design from James Madison University during commencement ceremonies held Dec. 19.
