School briefs

Jaelynn Ayana Bennett graduated cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree in criminal justice from Mary Baldwin College during commencement ceremonies on May 17. She graduated with distinction in her major and completed a minor in African American studies. At MBC, Bennett was a member of Alpha Lambda Delta, Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Phi Sigma, and was a Global Honors scholar. A 2010 graduate of Gloucester High School, she is the daughter of Anthony and Linda McGee and the granddaughter of James N. Cook, all of Gloucester. 

Megan Wilson-Bost of Gloucester was named to the spring semester dean’s list at Emory & Henry College. The recognition requires a 3.6 or higher grade point average.  ...
