Jaelynn Bennett of Gloucester, was named to the spring honors list at Mary Baldwin College. The recognition requires a grade point average of 3.75 or above. 

Madison Huie of Gloucester and 18 other U.S. teenagers did humanitarian work for the poor in the Polynesian state of Tonga July 8-26. Working through Humanitarian Experience for Youth, the teens labored to build houses for those living in impoverished conditions.
