Gloucester County Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Walter R. Clemons has been elected a vice president of the Urban Superintendents Association of America. He was elected for a two-year term that begins in January 2022. The USAA is a professional association of more than 150 public school superintendents who serve small and mid-size public school districts in the United States and Canada. In 2017, Clemons was a featured speaker at the USAA’s national conference in Loveland, Colorado. He is going on his eighth year as the school division superintendent in Gloucester.
