Gloucester High School graduate Caela Gilsinan was the winner of the Tidewater Soil and Water Conservation District’s 2020 Martin J. Menges Scholarship. The scholarship honors Menges who was a former District Director and co-founder of both the York River Chapter of the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and the watershed group, Save the Ole Piankatank. Gilsinan was awarded $1,000 for her outstanding scholastic achievements at Gloucester High School and her volunteer work in the community, a release stated.
