Jason Daniel Shields, a 2006 graduate of Gloucester High School, has completed his post-doctoral training in organic chemistry at Boston College. Shields has accepted a job as a medicinal chemist at AstraZeneca in Waltham, Massachusetts, where he will conduct research to develop cancer drugs.
