The Mathews County School Board will hold a special closed meeting in the school board office beginning at 8 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 5.

The meeting is specifically for the discussion and briefing by legal counsel and law enforcement pursuant to Virginia Freedom of Information Act; Section 2.2-3711(A)(19), according to school board clerk Stephanie Lowe, who added it was the same thing that was discussed at the Nov. 18 closed meeting, held prior to the monthly board meeting.
