The Gloucester School Board made a few personnel appointments at its annual retreat at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science on Aug. 11.

Eugene Schoeck of Gloucester was appointed to the criminal justice, computer information systems and economics teaching positions at Gloucester High School, effective Aug. 15; Robert Gibson of Gloucester was appointed to the eighth grade English Language Arts teaching position at Page Middle School, effective Aug. 15; and William Naquin of Gloucester was assigned to the seventh grade English Language Arts teaching position at Peasley Middle School, effective Aug. 15.
