School board approves personnel matters

The Gloucester County School Board approved several personnel matters during its May 13 meeting, held in the T.C. Walker Education Center auditorium.
Michael Cain of Kilmarnock was appointed to a facilities technician position, effective May 12; Ava Pugliese of Virginia Beach was named to a counselor position at Page Middle School, effective Aug. 1; Kimberly Kozenski of Gloucester was appointed to a kindergarten teaching position at Botetourt Elementary School, effective Aug. 11; Roger Blankenship Jr. of Hayes was named to a carpentry instructor position at Gloucester High School, effective Aug. 11; Dana Combs of Hayes was appointed to a first grade teaching position at Petsworth Elementary School, effective Aug. 11; and William Tanner of Newport News was appointed to an auto mechanics instructor position at GHS, effective Aug. 11.
