Mathews High School’s newly-established Key Club and the club’s adult Kiwanis Club sponsors are working on a project to beautify the school’s grounds with new plantings. They began last Thursday by pulling up the existing shrubs and preparing the beds adjacent to the front of the school. Not all the Key Club’s 30 members could attend, so a second work date is scheduled for Sunday.
