The Randolph Reggie Car-ter Scholarship, honoring the legacy of the Middlesex County resident, has been established with Dec. 1, 2026 and June 1, 2027 the deadlines to apply for the upcoming spring and fall semesters. Carter, who went missing in May 2018, was officially declared deceased last October. The scholarship is open to high school seniors preparing to enter post-secondary education, current college students, students attending trade or vocational schools as well as students pursuing a certificate or other post-secondary educational program. “Let Me Say Something R.R.C. was created to honor Randolph’s life and to ensure his name is never forgotten,” according to the nonprofit organization’s website. “Those who loved him believe that the best way to keep his memory alive is through action—by blessing the community, mentoring people through difficult seasons, and inspiring others to find hope even in the hardest moments.” For more information, as well as a link to the scholarship...
