Meals on Wheels volunteer Jessica Schlosshan of Mathews has been featured in a Bay Aging promotional video, titled “The Friend.” The video was funded and produced by the Click & Pledge Foundation as part of Season 4 of its Heroes Uncovered video series.

Schlosshan is one of more than 400 volunteers who deliver 190,000+ meals annually to residents of the Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck through Bay Aging’s Meals on Wheels program. The video tells the story of how Schlosshan gives not only her time, but her heart to the aging residents she serves in Mathews County. In the video, she says she treats each client as if they are her friend, because they are.
