Scenes from the Gloucester Daffodil Show

 Melissa Ashe, at left above, won the Gloucester Daffodil Show’s Honorable Harvey Morgan People’s Choice Award for her artistic entry with the theme, ”Hidden Figures.” Visitors to the show were asked to vote for their favorite of 33 arrangements, and Ashe received the most votes. Presenting Ashe the award is Daffodil Show Awards Director Sandy Pait. Above right, Melissa Ashe’s award-winning artistic design. Below right, Jane Kempsell, a 92-year-old resident from Heron Cove, proudly displays her arrangement that was part of the Golden Touch display at this year’s Daffodil Show. Six local assisted living and nursing homes participated in the Golden Touch exhibit, which was not judged.
