‘The Cross’

Faith Baptist Church, Bohannon, presented "The Cross" on Friday and Saturday evenings at a field near Dr. Ben Lennon’s dental office in Mathews. The presentation of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ has become an annual event for the church. Easter egg hunts

For many children, Easter means candy, and a number of Easter egg hunts were held in the two counties on Saturday to satisfy their candy cravings. At left, Gloucester’s Chick-fil-A held Easter egg hunts for three age groups, with one lucky person in each group winning a bicycle and helmet donated by Walmart.
