S&B Mufflers & Brakes, Inc, located on Route 17 at Hayes, will celebrate its 15th anniversary in business on March 1.

Steven Bailey Jr., a mechanic at the shop, said the company will offer service specials throughout the month.

The business is owned by Steven’s parents, Steve and Bonnie Bailey.

The shop has expanded its services in recent months, Bonnie Bailey said, adding radiator flush, transmission flush, oil changes, and state inspections, with new equipment purchased to offer flush services. Bonnie and Steve Jr. are licensed state inspectors, as are mechanics Josh Harris and Tommy Daluisio. S&B has three service bays to handle domestic and foreign car and light truck repairs for brakes, mufflers and numerous other vehicle needs. Steve Jr. said customers come from as far away as Tappahannock, Richmond and Williamsburg because they like dealing with the local staff. Also, being on a major highway brings in unexpected out-of-town traffic, he said.
